Who Am I?
Hello! I’m Ben, a senior at USC’s Marshall School of Business studying Business Administration with a minor in AI Applications. My focus is on the space between strategy and applied AI, using my education to serve underserved communities.
I’m from Portland, Oregon, where I went to Ida B. Wells-Barnett High School, class of 2023. I’m the son of Argentine immigrants and grew up with Argentine culture at the center of the house, which is a large part of why Latin American development is the problem I want to spend my career on, whether that ends up being through a startup or through policy.
Beyond academics, I love playing soccer, tennis, backpacking, and surfing. I also have a passion for video editing, making fun videos for my friends and family.

Family story
My parents came to the United States from Argentina months before the economic crisis in 2001 in pursuit of higher education. That’s the reason I’m at USC, and a large part of why I want my work to point back toward Latin America rather than away from it.
I’m also the oldest of three. Being the person my younger siblings come to first is where I learned what mentorship actually looks like, which is mostly showing up consistently and answering the question honestly. It’s why I’ve kept doing it, now with first-generation students on campus.
