The concept

Home-renovation TV meets a college game show. Two fraternity houses compete in campus-inspired challenges, and the winner gets a full room makeover. The finale flashes forward to show the new room already wrecked.

It was a student project in Trojan Vision, USC’s student television station, under professors Aaron Kaplan and Adam Everist.

My part

I helped develop the format and package it: a pitch deck, a leave-behind deck, a pitch script, and a sizzle reel. The team pitched it to executives at The CW, FOX, and ABC, and I presented in the CW and FOX meetings.

I was the class’s nominee for Most Outstanding Student at the Trojan Vision Awards.

The three challenges

  • Red Cup Rizz

    Contestants race through a cup-covered house to finish pickup lines; a miss ends in a splash of water.

  • It’s Not That Easy, Bro

    Brothers identify makeup products, then give a teammate a full makeover.

  • Jungle Juice: Blender Showdown

    Teams win mini-games to choose increasingly questionable ingredients for their opponents’ drink.
